Niamh Crowe is an Irish grandmother with a gift for words. She has been writing speeches, jingles and stories since her schooldays and as an adult began contributed free lance articles to many foreign magazines.
She also wrote regularly for Ireland’s biggest selling paper the Evening Press for many years. As the mother of five children she balanced her writing with her trips to school plays, football matches and parents meetings, not to mention mountains of washing!
She saw a niche market for wedding speeches ten years ago and set up www.Speech-Writers.com. Since then has been constantly writing the thousands of speeches now available in Speech-writers’ ready-to-go range. She also writes customized speeches and has written for army chiefs, foreign ministers and the executives of many multi national companies. When it is difficult to know what to say she has found the right words writing eulogies for suicide victims, soldiers who have died in battle and has even been asked to write eulogies for people who are still alive and want to know what is going to be said about them when they die!
She loves writing her poems most of all, especially humorous ones for family occasions… She admits that she cannot be an expert on every custom all around the world so instead bases her speeches on the feelings of those concerned. As she says a father of the bride will love his daughter equally whether he is in Korea or Kansas. What was her favorite speech of all? It was one she wrote for a deaf and dumb couple for their wedding. She wrote that on that day they were speaking the language of love!
